Mike Padron, N1CC is a commercial pilot residing in Scottsdale, AZ. He is a 39 year veteran with FedEx, where he served as Managing Director of Flight and Technical Training.  Mike has been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1974. His amateur radio interests include CW and chasing DX. He is a life member of the ARRL and the Long Island CW Club, where he volunteers his time primarily in curriculum design and development. He is a member of the team that developed the LICW Beginners Carousel Curriculum, which incorporates the Elfenworks CW Chat Words at the point QSO words begin to form. Musical rhythm is introduced to facilitate the perception of those words as rhythmic sounds and positively influence learning code.
