Speeth Lauren KK6NGE

Lauren Speeth, PhD, (KK6NGE) holds a General HAM radio license and maintains memberships in Long Island CW Club, Millbrae Amateur Radio Club, and San Mateo Radio Club. As President of Elfenworks Productions, LLC, she focuses on educational media development. She holds a lifetime Community College Teaching Credential from the State of California and an Advanced Computer Security Professional Credential from Stanford University. Although she had never taught Morse Code prior to this endeavor, she had experience teaching statistics, mathematics, computer science, and nonprofit leadership, and has lectured to students around the world. Dr. Speeth is a Regent Emeritus of Saint Mary's College, a former Trustee of Mills College, a Lifetime Member of the Board of Councilors of The Carter Center, and an External Advisor for the Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality, where she was an architect/programmer and co-orchestrated the Center launch with a Concert for Hope. An active musician, Speeth subs on electric bass in a contemporary worship service and is a proud member emeritus of The Peninsula Symphony's First Violin section.
